HappinessCue® Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct
HappinessCue® is built on the principles of:
- Respect
- Safety
- Empathy
- Integrity
- Responsible participation
These Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct (“Guidelines”) outline the standards of behaviour expected from all individuals using the Platform, including:
- Clients
- Experts
- Visitors
- Premium users
- Community participants
These Guidelines are intended to help create a respectful, safe, and trustworthy platform environment while protecting users, Experts, and overall platform integrity.
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Guidelines.
1. Purpose of These Guidelines
These Guidelines are designed to:
- Encourage respectful and ethical interactions
- Promote emotional and digital safety
- Protect privacy and confidentiality
- Prevent misuse and harmful conduct
- Support responsible platform participation
- Maintain trust and platform integrity
These Guidelines operate alongside all related platform policies, agreements, and applicable laws.
2. Core Community Principles
All users are expected to engage with the Platform in a manner that reflects:
Respect
Treating others with courtesy, professionalism, and dignity.
Integrity
Communicating honestly and participating in good faith.
Empathy
Recognising that users may come from diverse personal, emotional, or cultural backgrounds.
Safety
Avoiding conduct that may harm, exploit, intimidate, or manipulate others.
Responsibility
Using the Platform ethically and within lawful boundaries.
3. Expected Conduct for All Users
All users are expected to:
- Communicate respectfully
- Use the Platform responsibly
- Provide truthful and accurate information
- Respect professional and personal boundaries
- Comply with applicable laws and platform policies
- Protect privacy and confidentiality
- Engage in good faith interactions
- Respect platform systems and operational processes
Users should exercise discretion and independent judgment while interacting with others on the Platform.
4. Prohibited Behaviour
The following conduct is strictly prohibited on HappinessCue®:
4.1 Abuse & Harassment
Including but not limited to:
- Harassment
- Bullying
- Intimidation
- Threats
- Stalking behaviour
- Persistent unwanted contact
- Abusive communication
4.2 Hate Speech & Discrimination
Including:
- Hate speech
- Discriminatory remarks
- Targeted abuse
- Derogatory conduct based on identity, background, or personal characteristics
4.3 Exploitation & Manipulation
Including:
- Emotional exploitation
- Manipulation of vulnerable individuals
- Coercive behaviour
- Financial exploitation
- Deceptive practices
4.4 Misrepresentation & Fraud
Including:
- Impersonation
- False claims
- Fake credentials
- Misleading representations
- Fraudulent activity
- Identity misuse
4.5 Sexual Misconduct & Inappropriate Behaviour
Including:
- Unwanted sexual advances
- Explicit or inappropriate communication
- Sexual harassment
- Inappropriate requests
- Sharing explicit content
4.6 Platform Misuse
Including:
- Circumventing payment systems
- Attempting off-platform commercial arrangements
- Manipulating reviews or ratings
- Spamming
- Uploading malicious software
- Attempting unauthorised access
- Interfering with platform functionality
4.7 Privacy Violations
Including:
- Sharing private information without consent
- Recording sessions without permission
- Distributing confidential conversations
- Publicly exposing personal information
5. Guidelines for Clients
Clients are expected to:
- Treat Experts respectfully and professionally
- Communicate honestly and responsibly
- Respect scheduling commitments
- Exercise independent judgment
- Maintain appropriate boundaries
- Provide constructive feedback where appropriate
Clients must not:
- Harass or pressure Experts
- Demand guaranteed outcomes
- Attempt to manipulate emotionally vulnerable situations
- Seek services beyond an Expert’s declared scope
- Attempt unauthorised off-platform arrangements
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, and interpretations.
6. Guidelines for Experts
Experts are expected to:
- Maintain professionalism and ethical conduct
- Represent qualifications truthfully
- Respect user confidentiality
- Communicate responsibly and sensitively
- Operate within lawful and ethical boundaries
- Avoid misleading claims or guarantees
Experts must not:
- Misrepresent credentials or experience
- Claim emergency or medical capabilities without lawful basis
- Exploit emotionally vulnerable users
- Engage in inappropriate personal or financial relationships with Clients
- Pressure Clients into continued engagements
- Solicit unauthorised off-platform arrangements
Experts remain independently responsible for their professional conduct and legal compliance.
7. Safety & Emotional Well-Being
HappinessCue® aims to encourage emotionally safe and respectful interactions.
However:
- The Platform cannot guarantee emotional compatibility between users and Experts
- Users remain responsible for exercising independent judgment
- Digital interactions inherently involve limitations and misunderstandings
The Platform encourages users to seek licensed emergency or healthcare support wherever appropriate.
8. No Emergency or Crisis Platform
HappinessCue® is not a crisis-response or emergency support service.
The Platform must not be relied upon for:
- Suicide prevention
- Emergency psychiatric support
- Medical emergencies
- Immediate crisis intervention
Users facing emergencies or severe distress should immediately contact:
- Emergency services
- Hospitals
- Licensed healthcare professionals
- Crisis-support providers
9. Reporting Concerns & Violations
Users are encouraged to report:
- Policy violations
- Harassment
- Fraudulent behaviour
- Privacy breaches
- Unsafe interactions
- Suspicious activity
Reports may be submitted through:
- Platform reporting systems
- Official support channels
- support@happinesscue.com
The Platform may request additional information to investigate concerns.
10. Investigation & Enforcement
HappinessCue® reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Review reported conduct
- Investigate complaints
- Restrict accounts
- Remove content
- Suspend or terminate access
- Restrict visibility
- Withhold payouts where legally permissible
- Take appropriate operational or legal action
Enforcement decisions may consider:
- User safety
- Platform integrity
- Severity of conduct
- Repeated violations
- Operational risks
The Platform is not obligated to disclose internal moderation procedures.
11. No Guarantee of Continuous Access
Participation on the Platform is a privilege and not a guaranteed right.
HappinessCue® reserves the right to:
- Restrict access
- Remove users or Experts
- Suspend participation
- Modify platform rules
where reasonably necessary for:
- Safety
- Compliance
- Fraud prevention
- Operational integrity
- Risk management
12. Privacy & Confidentiality
Users are expected to:
- Respect the privacy of others
- Avoid unauthorised disclosures
- Exercise discretion while sharing personal information
Users acknowledge that:
- Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed
- Digital communications involve inherent limitations
- External disclosures may occur beyond platform control
Privacy practices are governed by the Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual Property & Platform Content
Users must not:
- Copy or redistribute proprietary platform content
- Misuse branding or intellectual property
- Reproduce session content without authorisation
- Commercially exploit platform materials without permission
All platform intellectual property remains owned by CareerBricks Learning Solutions unless otherwise stated.
14. Third-Party Interactions
The Platform may include links to or integrations with third-party services.
HappinessCue®:
- Does not control third-party conduct
- Does not guarantee external platform safety
- Is not responsible for third-party interactions or practices
Users access third-party services at their own discretion and risk.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
HappinessCue®, CareerBricks Learning Solutions, and associated parties shall not be liable for:
- User conduct
- Expert conduct
- Emotional distress
- Personal disagreements
- Relationship outcomes
- Misunderstandings between users
- Indirect or consequential losses
Users participate on the Platform entirely at their own discretion and responsibility.
16. Compliance with Laws
All users are expected to comply with:
- Applicable laws
- Digital conduct standards
- Consumer protection requirements
- Privacy obligations
- Platform policies and agreements
The Platform reserves the right to cooperate with lawful investigations or regulatory requests where required.
17. Amendments & Updates
HappinessCue® reserves the right to modify these Guidelines periodically to reflect:
- Platform evolution
- Safety improvements
- Legal developments
- Operational requirements
- Community standards
Updated versions shall be published on the Platform.
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Guidelines shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes arising in relation to these Guidelines shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Gurugram, Haryana.
