Body Image & Self-Esteem

Teens today grow up under constant comparison - filtered images, social approval, and the pressure to “look right.” At HappinessCue, our Body Image & Self-Esteem sessions help young individuals appreciate themselves beyond appearance.

We focus on building emotional resilience and body neutrality - shifting attention from “how I look” to “how I feel and what I can do.” Counsellors guide teens through self-talk reframing, media literacy, and identity-building exercises that promote authenticity.

Sessions also address body shaming, online validation cycles, and perfectionism, helping teens feel comfortable in their own skin and grounded in their self-worth.

When self-respect becomes stronger than social pressure, confidence starts to feel natural - not performed.
